- Beautiful colour range of Kikoi body wraps (like a sarong). Woven on Mungo’s recently restored Ruti Looms, they are working hard and producing this range of vibrant Ruti Kikois. Take your pick! Pure cotton vibrant colours with a true selvage creates a sturdy and clean finish.
They are of exemplary quality, robust and cheerful. A very versatile travel companion, multi functional and practical on the beach, at the pool, on your travels – even becomes a great substitute scarf, shawl, throw – to name a few.

Proper Living is excited to work with and introduce Mungo’s exceptional quality products made in South Africa. Mungo is a unique textile company with the rare ability to create fabrics from the inception of design to the final product. Sampling is done on antique 19th century Hattersley looms in their Working Weaving Museum. Other fabrics are woven in a boutique weavery close by which employs and empowers the local community.
Ethical trading and integrity underpins their philosophy, they are particular about sourcing quality natural fibres, they do not mass produce and fabrics are constructed to last. They are fully prepared to make the sacrifices that this awareness entails.
